Cloud Systems Administrator 2:

Essential Duties: The System Administrator will provide critical system support to ensure the continues delivery of the CYBERSPARROW & NETSEER systems via automation and orchestration of deployments, quality control, and system maintenance. 

Required: Security Plus Certification, Command line system administration experience with Linux (CentOS, Amazon Linux 2, RedHat). Experience and general familiarity with the following: Knowledge of AWS Services and storage mechanisms, performing system administration within the AWS Cloud environment, Windows System Administration, BigFix installation and reporting, maintaining system security plans, experience with Jira and Confluence, experience mitigating information assurance vulnerability alerts (IAVA, Patch management IAVA)

Desired: Cloud System Administration Certification (AWS or other cloud platform), Ansible automation, Experience working in an Agile and Scrum environment, Machine Shop Administration (NSA proprietary), Experience using Kibana or Splunk dashboards to monitor application activity, Risk Management Framework, Docker or Kubernetes containerization experience 

Cloud Systems Administrator 2

(Basic Splunk Understanding):

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Typical Sys Admin tasks – Server Certificate life cycle, monitoring VM health status, update software on VMs (manually and through YUM repos), making sure VMs satisfy latest security requirements set by the Enterprise. (Original intent to account for additional system administrator work for a Splunk platform).

Monitoring and manage production Linux VMs - stand-alone VMs and those integrated in a Kubernetes cluster – across multiple hosting platforms. 

Work with customers and development team to support product needs. Including trivial changes (i.e., VM name changes) to significant efforts (i.e., new cluster builds).

Some Dev Ops tasks including running and maintaining Ansible playbooks to push out changes to VMs and monitoring the Kubernetes clusters through Rancher or kubectl commands to ensure the clusters nodes and pods are healthy and running smooth.

Required: Working knowledge of Splunk, Linux/RHEL8, Ansible, SSP Compliance, Firewalls, and AWS experience

Desired: CentOs or RHEL Experience, PKI Certificate /Server Certificate Setup, Kubernetes, AWS, VMWare, OpenStack, Git
