Reservation Clerk $500 Signing Bonus Edgewater (Laughlin, NV)

Description:

Summary:

Assist guests with incoming phone calls, transfers and inquiries regarding facilities and services for all Golden Entertainment-owned properties in the Laughlin, NV.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Answer and handle all incoming calls to central Laughlin reservations from outside or within the properties

  • Maximize department revenue by selling company products to all current and potential guests

  • Input required information into the appropriate computer system and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

  • Notify supervisors of all irregularities, customer problems or related area of difficulty

  • Authorize to and knowledgeable at administering complimentaries to guests based on established casino criteria

  • Maintain the daily abandonment rate

  • Maintain a comfortable and pleasant work environment

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Minimum six months of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to maintain a flexible working schedule based on a 24 hour work environment as well as being dependable and punctual

  • Previous experience with LMS/CMS or PBX applications preferred

  • At least 18 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

  • Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally push/pull up to 15 lbs.

  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels

  • Occasionally squat, kneel, and communicate via radio

  • Frequently bend, reach, twist, sit, and stand, and use of phone

  • Constant use of hearing and vision, distinguish between shades of color, and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
