Description:

General Summary

Works independently under the management of the Beverage Department with a focus on providing beverage service to all guests at the bar area, including cocktail servers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the highest level of guest service while observing responsible beverage service. Provide requested beverage cocktail and/or recipe preparation and deliver cordially to guests and/or beverage servers.

  • Maintains cleanliness and hygiene of work area, bar tops, floors and line equipment.

  • Receives, issues and keeps necessary records of liquor and other bar supplies.

  • Refills and stocks garnishes and glassware.

  • Must have a working knowledge of POS system and liquor/soda guns and mixology.

  • Follows cash handling and Info Genesis POS procedures.

  • Follows cash and comp procedures.

  • Responsible for monitoring guests throughout their visit to ensure all needs are met.

  • Maintain that tables outside of the internal bar area are kept clean and cleared of unnecessary items.

  • Maintain stocked supplies and cleanliness of assigned outlet.

  • May need to serve already prepared foods maintaining food quality by checking dates, labels and times.

  • All team members are to provide G.R.E.A.T.E.R guest service to all internal and external guests.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

  • Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests

Requirements:

Job Specifications – Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

  • one year related experience and/or training preferred.

  • Basic mathematically skills required to effectively tender guest checks, provide change and for cash bank accuracy.

  • Must be able to communicate in English, both verbal and written.

  • Must be able to use a phone and speak on a radio.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must have the ability to read labels and identify products and/or uses.

  • Ability to abide by company policies procedures and/or State and Federal laws and regulations in relation to health, safety, sanitation and presence of minors in gaming areas.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.

  • Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.

Working Conditions – Physical Requirements

  • The employee is also regularly required to use hands to fingers to handle and/or feel objects tools or controls.

  • Must have the ability to swim.

  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, temperatures at or above 120 degrees, high winds and unshaded sun for extended periods.

  • Walking, standing or stooping (80% of the time).

  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Vision, hearing, speech and literacy (critical).

  • Must have the ability to read labels and identify products and/or uses.
