General Summary

Responsible for cleanliness of guest rooms to which they are assigned; clean a minimum (but not limited to) 16 credits per 8 hour shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for cleanliness of assigned rooms to include:

Properly made bed: All bed linen is clean and free of stains and holes. Linen is pulled tight, with folded corners. Pillows are to be placed correctly. Bed skirts and scarf to be straightened.

Complete dusting and vacuuming of room to ensure all dirt and debris is removed.

Bathroom service: Mirrors are to be free of streaks and smudges. Toilet is cleaned and disinfected. Sink and counter is to be cleaned and all amenities are to be placed properly. Tub is cleaned. Clean linen is to be clean and free of hair, stains or snags. Bathroom floor is cleaned and free of dirt and debris.

All in-room paper products are up-to-date and neat without creases, marks or water rings.

Updates assignment sheet with room status and records linens that are changed in each room during the course of the shift.

Responsible for punching in the room status on the guest room telephone (i.e., vacant/clean, occupied/clean or vacant/dirty).

Maintains room attendant cart with appropriate room amenities, linens and paper products.

Responsible for securing Saflok master key during shift.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests
