Description:

General Summary

Responsible for the maintenance of all carpets in the hotel towers, including guest rooms and corridors. Responsible for all equipment operated. Responsible for any keys issued.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains carpet in all areas of the hotel towers, including guest rooms and corridors.

  • Responsible to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after each shift.

  • Identifies areas of the hotel that need cleaning, in addition to cleaning areas assigned by management.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

  • Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests

Requirements:

Job Specifications – Qualifications

  • Previous carpet care experience strongly preferred.

  • Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbal.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.

  • Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.

Working Conditions – Physical Requirements

  • Regularly walk, stand or stoop 80% of shift.

  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 250 lbs.

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Need to distinguish between shades of color.

  • Receive job assignments via text messaging system.

  • Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
