Summary:

Performs all types of troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, preventative maintenance and repairs for equipment, environmental spaces and grounds as assigned. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and department policies and procedures. Works independently in majority of tasks and for tasks requiring expert advice, the engineer will work under close supervision or under the direction of more senior engineers. High responsibility level, especially when dealing directly with guests.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems
  • Must be able to perform inspections and routine preventive maintenance and make repairs to plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment as needed
  • Responsible for initiating and responding to work orders through the work order system, completing the work assignments timely/accurately and keeping accurate records of work performed
  • Must be able to maintain the preventative maintenance program as required including documentation on annual inspections of equipment
  • Install or re-direct electrical circuits as needed; Must be able to use power tools, chemicals, electrical and mechanical devices
  • Install new layouts for all gaming tables as required
  • Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs
  • Responsible for re-lamping throughout property as necessary, changing filters, oiling motors and other preventive maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Operate machinery and equipment as required (such as forklift). Will train if necessary
  • Present self in a professional ,well-groomed manner at all times
  • Maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of the organization
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Able to understand and conform to all Company/Department Policies and Procedures and Rules and Regulations
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the companys guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
