Description:

General Summary

Responsible for dealing all casino games while providing a great gaming experience to the player. The dealer will ensure that policies and procedures are followed and that the integrity of the game is not compromised. Dealers work under supervision on the casino floor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service standards and procedures.

  • Deal live table games with efficiency, proficiency and professionalism while providing exceptional guest service.

  • Advise supervisor or manager of irregular play or possible gaming violations.

  • Advise supervisor or manager of any personnel or operational problems.

  • Ensures bankroll on their respective game is kept at par.

  • Verify fills/credit slips for accuracy.

  • Utilized playing cards and/or dice and reviews them for irregularities throughout the shift.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

  • Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests

Requirements:

Job Specifications – Qualifications

  • Minimum six months experience dealing table games

  • one year preferred.

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Minimum 21 years of age.

  • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.

  • Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers).

  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.

  • Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.

Working Conditions – Physical Requirements

  • Required to walk, stand or stoop for 80% of shift.

  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 20 lbs.

  • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.

  • Need to distinguish between shades of color.
