Alaant Leadership Development Manager in Latham, New York

Hours and Benefits for the Leadership Development Manager:

  • $70,000 to $80,000 a year (based on experience level)

  • Hybrid Work Schedule; Monday and Friday Remote

  • Employer contributes up to 85% for health benefits, NYS Employees’ Retirement System, and 40+ days Annual Paid Leave

Responsibilities for the Leadership Development Manager:

  • Develop, moderate, and deliver training and governance team retreats, workshops, podcasts or webinars, virtually and in-person

  • Research topical areas, design curriculum, compile resource materials and build presentations

  • Identify member professional development needs regarding governance leadership, including the interpersonal relationships between school board members

Requirements for the Leadership Development Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience teaching, delivering training and/or developing curriculum

  • Travel within NY State (excluding NYC), including occasional overnights, is required

  • Excellent written, public speaking, presentation and interpersonal skills required
