We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Buyer with a solid background in hospitality to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sourcing high-quality products, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods essential to the client's food production operations.
salary: $28 - $30 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing.
Maintain relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking new vendors to expand the supplier base and mitigate risks.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and logistics to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting food production to identify opportunities and risks.
Analyze procurement data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
