Description

We are seeking a dynamic Threat Analyst to play a pivotal part in our clients’ third-party risk management assessment process and business continuity functions and supporting its team. Here is a snapshot of what you will be doing:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guide the end-to-end third-party implementation process, ensuring vendors meeting our control standards and conducting pre-contractual third-party reviews.

  2. Conduct thorough assessments of all aspects of the provider, identifying required controls and potential risks for remediation.

  3. Monitor and track third-party risk issues, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate risk mitigation actions.

  4. Develop a comprehensive understanding of our third-party risk management framework and standards, aligning with industry frameworks such as PCI-DSS, FFIEC, OCC, ISO, and NIST.

  5. Collaborate cross-functionality with legal, procurement, IT, and business units to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with risk management processes.

  6. Assist in developing and enhancing third-party due diligence policies, procedures, and frameworks to continually improve effectiveness and efficiency.

  7. Perform selected vendor management functions as a backup and handle any other assigned duties.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies, frameworks, and best practices in cybersecurity domains, mainly in third-party risk management.

  2. Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks related to third-party risk management, including FFIEC handbook, ISO 27001, CSF, NIS SP 800-53, GDPR and other industry specific regulations.

  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing clear and concise reports, summaries, and documentation related to risk assessments.

  4. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to monitor and track third-party risk issues, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate risk mitigation actions.

  5. Proactive attitude with the ability to stay updates on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and industry standards related to third-party risk management.

  6. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Business, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

  7. MINIMUM of 3 years of experience in third-party risk management, vendor management, information security, IT auditing, or equivalent.

  8. Proficiency in writing technical documentation and reports, along with experience in Excel including pivot tables and formulas.

  9. Preferred certification: Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP)
