Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Information Assurance Analyst (ISSO)

  • Formulate and assess Information Technology (IT) security policy to include business impact.

  • Prepare security plans for employing enterprise-wide security architecture to include the design of cryptographic solutions.

  • Develop integrated security services management.

  • Execute security awareness training.

  • Assess and audit network penetration testing anti-virus planning assistance, risk analysis, and incident response.

  • Provide security-engineering support for application development (including system security certifications and project evaluations).

  • Develop, design, and implement firewalls.

  • Evaluate, review, and test security code.

     

    Required Skills and Experience

    Must have outstanding Interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience with several architecture and platforms in an integrated environment.

  • Proficient knowledge in Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-30, NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53a, NIST SP 800-61, NIST 800-171, Army Regulation (AR) 25-2, and AR-380-5.

  • Expert knowledge of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS).

  • Expert knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.

    Professional Certifications

    Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Identity and Access Management (IAM) Level III certification; IAM Level II certification required

    Formal Education

    Bachelor of Science

    Years of Professional Experience

    5 years’ experience in relevant field

    Security Clearance Requirements

    Must possess a Secret clearance with Top-Secret eligibility

    Citizenship

    U.S. Citizenship Required
