Are you an experienced Electromechanical Technician who is flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives on solving tough problems? We are looking for an individual to champion the quality of our products using both automated and manual tests, reporting, repairing and verifying defects. If you are looking to stand out in your field this may be the opportunity for you.

salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine how to assemble parts, and other equipment.

 Use specialized instruments to measure parts and ensure they meet specifications.

 Inspect parts for defects.

 Test the performance of electro-mechanical assemblies.

 Install electronic components using soldering equipment and hand tools.

 Analyze and record test results and prepare written documentation.

 Perform a full lifecycle testing on new products.

 Review mechanical drawings for new products.

 Review 3D models in SolidWorks.

 Interface with customers when needed.

 Participate in customer Design reviews with attention to DFM.

 Have a working knowledge of Change Control and issuing Engineering Change Notices (ECN).

 Assist with assembly and construction of prototype samples.

 Assist when required in performing SIR, FAI inspection approvals (on new parts).

 Understand various properties of raw materials (Pros and Cons of using them).

 Possess a basic understanding of electrical properties and EMC Compliance is a Plus.

 Perform other duties as required.

The essential functions of this role include:
