POSITION:Education Specialist (this is a required driving position) LOCATION:Lied Memorial Club SCHEDULE:Full Time SALARY:$19 Per Hour (Eligible for full-time benefits after the first day of the month following 60 days of employment)

SUMMARY:The Education Specialist is responsible for overseeing all Academic Success (Education and Arts) programs at their assigned Clubhouse(s). This includes planning, development, reporting, and implementation of these programs in collaboration with the Programs team. The Education Specialist also assists with other operational functions of the Clubhouse and may serve as acting Clubhouse supervisor in the absence of the Clubhouse Director and Assistant Clubhouse Director.

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience in a Boys and Girls Club or similar organization working with youth in an education and/or art setting.

``` - Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google suite of productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).

``` - Ability to deal effectively with multi-age groups of children, small groups of children in activities and free play, and large groups of children in organized activities.

  • Lead and teach new skills. Our Specialists develop and deliver programming to youth members aged 6-18.
