Description:

Summary:

Provide front counter service to customers for the PT’s Express Outlets, including taking Food and Beverage orders. Prepare requested items, work with fellow team members to ensure orders are properly prepared and distributed in a timely manner along with accuracy and efficiently. Effective management of the point of sale system.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items and individual options, take orders accurately, prepare and serve items to the guests

  • Maintain Food and Beverage supplies to include to go items and cutlery, bottled sodas and assist Chef on Duty with orders from the warehouse for FOH operations

  • Prepare all dishes following recipes and yield guides, according to department standards

  • Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and hotel requirements

  • Transport empty, dirty pots and pans to the main kitchen station

  • Breakdown work station and complete closing duties according to department standards

  • Manage cash bank, ensuring balance is accurate at the end of the shift

  • Ensure adequate POS supplies are available for the shift, including ribbons, comp paper, cash drop envelopes and receipt paper

  • Retain receipts for all transactions, and records and reconciles transactions on the point of sale system

  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

  • Maintain general cleanliness of assigned work station and dining room to include sanitation of tables, chairs, trays and sweeping

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Previous cash handling and guest service experience

  • 6 months of previous experience working in high volume, fast-paced restaurant or cashiering environment preferred

  • Prior experience with POS systems preferred

  • Previous experience working in a team or group environment

  • Able to effectively communication in English, both written and verbal

  • Basic computer skills preferred

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

  • Verify right to work in the United States

  • Frequently push and/or pull up to 75 lbs.
