Cafe Bus Person/Runner Arizona Charlie’s Decatur (Las Vegas, NV)

Description:

Summary:

Assist in the dining area by helping clear and reset tables. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas. Act as Runner in the kitchen for clean supplies to ensure a smooth flow of service to the guests by Food Server staff.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Clear and clean tables after guests depart and reset tables with appropriate, clean supplies

  • Transport soiled dishes to dishwashing area, properly separating wares and food

  • Maintain knowledge of all table, seat, and station numbers

  • Assist with rolling silverware and maintaining the appropriate amount needed per shift

  • Remain positive and professional during all interactions with guests, fellow co-workers, and vendors

  • Provide continuous flow of supplies to bus stations and server pickup area

  • Ensure assigned work areas are clean before, during and at the end of shift

  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a same or similar role

  • Prior experience multi-tasking, remaining calm and professional while working in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate with management, co-workers and guests in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests or other employees

  • Able to perform all duties with great attention to detail, speed and accuracy

  • Ability to efficiently prioritize, organize and follow up in a timely manner

  • At least 21 years of age

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

  • Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally push/pull up to 100 lbs.
