PRIMARY PURPOSE:

It is the primary responsibility of the Casino Cage Shift Supervisor to assist in leading the cage team toward a successful completion of shift operations including balancing of all banks, adherence to all company best practices and all Federal, State and local gaming regulations in addition to the delivery of SHOW standard guest service to all internal and external patrons.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors quality standards within the department,delegation of daily work, running shiftreportsfor the department, and verifies and approves appropriate transactions in accordance with internal control standards.

  • Assist the CasinoCage Manager in ensuring the banks are balanced within the Cage at the end of the shift in accordance with departmental variance policy and reviews all the reports or forms accurately in compliance with Title 31.

  • Excellentcustomerservices and maintains the highestlevel of S.H.O.W.guestservice program to all guests,resolvesguestcomplaints,assistwith MGM RewardsMemberrequest and disputes in a professional and timely manner. Assistwithsupervising the delivery and measurement of guestservice within assigneddepartment(s)consistentwith company’s core service standards and brand attributes.

  • Supervise and support MGM Rewards program, MyVegasrewards program, and M lifeRewardsMastercard program; IssueFREEPLAY,complimentary play coupons and adjust tier credits to guests upon request in accordance with outlined company policies and procedures.

  • Collaborates with workforcemanagement and CasinoCage Manager on work schedules,vacationrequests, attendance records, to ensure proper staffinglevels.

  • Assistwith Human Resourcesresponsibilities to include: create and maintain a work environment that promotes clientservice,teamwork,performancefeedback,individualrecognition, mutual respect, and employeesatisfactionensuring training, and succession planning processes that encompass the Company’s diversitycommitment.

  • Proficient and willneed to perform all CasinoCage banks and window function.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Two (2) years of relevantexperience in a cash handling or banking role.

  • Work variedshifts, to include weekends and holidays.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in large-volumecash handling.

  • Experience in Casino Cage / Banking or Finance.

  • Experience working in a similarresortsetting.

  • Thorough knowledge and compliance of Title 31 Regulations.
