Accounts Payable Supervisor Golden Entertainment Corporate (Las Vegas, NV)

Description:

Summary:

Responsible for assisting with the day to day operation and direct supervision of assigned activities within the Accounts Payable department. Oversee overall department and/or shift(s) as assigned. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or employee challenges.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned

  • Ensure invoices received by A/P are processed in a timely manner and payments are made on or before due dates

  • Maintain department processes set by the A/P Manager. Work with A/P line staff to correct any variances to the processes.

  • Work with A/P Manager and/or other departments to resolve any escalated issues involving vendor invoices

  • Work with A/P line staff to process invoices, as needed

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience working in A/P department

  • Previous leadership experience in A/P field preferred

  • Previous experience working in the gaming industry preferred

  • Able to effectively organize materials, set priorities, and provide feedback or follow up

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a very high-paced, busy environment

  • Proven experience providing high level of guest service

  • Profession-appropriate competence with Stratton Warren, MS Word, and MS Excel

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

  • Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally push/pull up to 35 lbs.

  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels
