Exempt $67,858 Job Summary: Monitors the business activities of the accounting department through the maintenance of ledgers and the control of chart of accounts. Performs advanced accounting functions in the management of the organization's various business affairs. Prepares special financial and statistical reports and statements. Assists in directing and cost controls, financial analysis, accounting practices and reports. Analyzes and interprets financial data and recommends changes to improve systems and financial performance. Working knowledge of federal and state financial regulations; of standard accounting principles, methods, and applications; of contracting process and associated local, state, federal, and other regulations; and contract and grant management.

Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures.
