Sylvan Learning Math Teacher/Tutor in Las Cruces, New Mexico

 Do you love math? Would you like to inspire students to feel confident with their math skills? Then Sylvan has a job for you. Sylvan Learning Center in Las Cruces is currently hiring math teachers for part-time positions.  Applicants must be able to teach high school level math. Position also available for teacher that can teach high school level Chemistry and Physics. As a Sylvan instructor, you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given tools to teach in a small group setting, 3:1. You will provide personalized instruction in math based on the student’s need. Also opportunities are available for instructors with Sylvan’s SAT/ACT Prep programs. Flexible afternoon and evening hours and Saturday morning hours Requirements: • Bachelor Degree in math related area preferred • Ability to teach high school level math • Experience working with students • Positive attitude and able to develop rapport with students of all ages • Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays
