KBR GEOINT Product Quality Engineer in Las Cruces, New Mexico

Title:

GEOINT Product Quality Engineer

KBR is currently seeking an experienced and motivated GEOINT Product Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

· Expertise associated with the design, planning, and execution of the validation of the current and future GEOINT baselines for product quality in support of system acceptance readiness and on-going operations, regression and enterprise test events, engineering study requests, return to operations events, special studies, trade studies, performance metrics/analysis reports, and support image calibration (e.g. sensor and processing)

· Provide support, trades, and analyses in support of integrating new capabilities/missions into the operations baseline

· Support mission exercises, rehearsals, and launch operations

· Assess mission ops for potential system capability, issues, and risks, such as ground throughput

· Define required analysis capabilities updates

· Perform image product regression testing

· Provide launch and initialization support

· Conduct technical requirements reviews and assess RFC impacts

· Document evaluation of design changes

· Provide personnel with domain expertise in GEOINT, image science, computer science, and GEOINT algorithm development as it relates to testing and analysis of software upgrades to existing GEOINT system baselines in order to satisfy the PQ requirements

· Support GPQ activities related to verification, validation, readiness, and discrepancy identification for current and future GEOINT systems

· Provide GEOINT domain expertise, including but not limited to, vehicle payload sensor knowledge, image processing chain knowledge, and hardware/database interactions

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

· 5+ years of experience in GEOINT product quality engineering

· Strong expertise associated with the design, planning, and execution of the validation of the current and future GEOINT baselines for product quality

· Experience in supporting mission exercises, rehearsals, and launch operations

· Ability to assess mission ops for potential system capability, issues, and risks

· Ability to define required analysis capabilities updates

· Experience in conducting technical requirements reviews and assessing RFC impacts

· Excellent documentation and communication skills

· Strong domain expertise in GEOINT, image science, computer science, and GEOINT algorithm development

· Knowledge of image processing chain and hardware/database interactions

· Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly security clearance required
