We're seeking a highly motivated Sanitation Technician to join our team in a dynamic role supporting medical device processing. You'll play a vital role in ensuring quality and cleanliness of equipment by following strict sanitation protocols, while working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals. Job Details

  • Length of assignment: 12 Month Temp (Permanent assignment possible after assignment)

  • Location: Largo, Florida 33773

  • Pay: $19.69 per hour

  • Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

This is an onsite position.

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow work instructions is required.

  • Proficient computer skills required to enter data, navigate, and routinely toggle between various application systems.

  • Must be able to wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas as required always including safety glasses.

  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent walking, stooping, reaching, grasping, and using gross motor manipulation.

  • Requires regularly working with cleaning and sanitizing solutions such as diluted bleach.

  • Ability to occasionally handle medical devices that have come in contact with bodily fluid and or insects.

  • Must be able to lift 36lbs on a routine basis.

  • Depending on rotation, may work in shipment preparation and must be able to lift 42lbs and use material handling equipment (ex. pallet jack or walkie stacker).

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Previous electrical mechanical assembly repair OR testing experience is preferred, but not required .

Job description

  • Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP's, equipment, policies, and procedures, including any department specific requirements.

  • Maintains a mindset that all accidents can be prevented and works pro-actively to achieve zero harmin the workplace.

  • Follows defined Quality Management Systems, all applicable procedures, reviews maintenancerecords, and completes all documentation as required.

  • Maintains a continuous flow of the servicing line and works independently and as a part of a team toachieve process yield results.

  • Receives and unpackages all incoming medical devices and follows procedures to assess properdisposition of medical equipment.

  • Uses chemical solutions to disinfect and sanitize devices, production equipment or the immediate work environment (i.e., diluted bleach solution, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol wipes, etc.).

  • Operates and monitors UV cleaning equipment and escalates issues as needed.

  • Prepares cleaning and sanitizing solutions, as per standard operating procedures.

  • May rotate into the assembly, repair, shipment preparation, and test areas as needed.

  • May train employees on an as needed basis.

Pay Details: $19.69 per hour
