ASM Global Suite Supervisor in Laredo, Texas

POSITION: Part-Time Suite Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage

REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a part-time Suite Supervisor for ASM Global/Sames Auto Arena. The Part-Time Suites Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the suites during scheduled events in accordance with ASM Global’s Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in the implementation of Food and Beverage Department goals relating to the suites and VIP area.

  • Assists in the pre-event planning and organization to ensure the appropriate staffing and inventory levels.

  • Delegates tasks and supervises employees in the preparation, service, & clean up required for the efficient operation of the suites in accordance with ASM Global policies and applicable laws.

  • Assists in the training of employees engaged in the preparation, service, and clean-up of the suites

  • Schedules and assigns employees to the suites

  • Works within the guidelines for food, beverage, and labor costs

  • Communicates with Food and Beverage Department staff at all levels to ensure guest satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • 1-2 years of related experience is preferred

  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) will be strongly preferred

  • Must have current Safe Food Handling & TABC certifications

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must.

  • Must be 18 Years of Age

    Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of one year experience in a food service position required

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

    Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards

  • Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training

  • Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation, and safety issues.
