Proposed Minimum Salary
The Department of Fine and Performing Arts is seeking a dance instructor to teach in any or all of the following areas: ballet, modern, jazz, conditioning, choreography, improvisation.
Education & Experience:
Master’s degree in dance is required
Prior college teaching is preferred or equivalent professional experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to teach and produce in one or more of the following genres of dance: ballet, modern, jazz.
Additional assignments may include conditioning, choreography, improvisation, dance history.
Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
Ability to plan and organize classes and prioritize tasks
Ability to complete tasks with deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality
