Trihydro Corporation Regional Emissions Technician in Laramie, Wyoming

Regional Ethanol Emissions Technician - Lafayette, IN, South Bend, IN or Indianapolis, IN

Trihydro, one of the nations top environmental and engineering consulting firms, has an opening for a regional ethanol emissions technician.?As a regionally-based team member, you will join our Air and Process Team and will assist with air quality monitoring associated with leak detection and repair (LDAR) monitoring programs, as well as other regulatory compliance activities in an industrial setting. This role involves approximately 40-45 hours of work per week and requires up to 75% overnight travel, predominately within IN. Approximately one week each month will involve local work without overnight travel dependent on hiring location.

What Regional Ethanol Emissions Technicians Do

Our regional ethanol emissions technicians (also called LDAR monitoring technicians) assist our clients in complying with environmental regulations by identifying equipment leaks for repair, thus helping reduce emissions.

Work Environment

This position consists primarily of field-based work and requires walking and standing for extended periods. Due to the outdoor nature of the role, work may occur in inclement weather conditions.?

This Role May be Right for You if You Have:

  • An interest in understanding how ethanol plants operate

  • A basic mechanical aptitude

  • Experience within an industrial setting (preferred, not required)

  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy

  • Acceptable written and oral communication skills with a strong desire to build successful relationships with clients and project team members.

  • An independent work ethic (can take direction and carry out tasks with minimal supervision)

  • An ability to work comfortably at heights

  • A clean driving record

  • Acceptable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
