Job Title: Traveling Superintendent

Job Description

This is an opportunity to work with an established and highly regarded contractor in West Michigan. They have a strong leadership team that takes good care of their employees.

They are on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Construction Traveling Project Superintendent to be an integral part of the team. As a Project Superintendent, you will take the reins in leading commercial construction projects in the field by planning, organizing and managing the daily operations on the job site. Your role will be critical in the layout of job sites and you will bring your Division 9 related experience to the fore. You will need a comprehensive understanding of the installation of drywall and steel stud construction. Our projects are varied and include mixed use, restaurants, hotels, multifamily, commercial, and more.

Hard Skills

  • Division 9 related experience

  • Understanding and ability to install drywall and steel stud construction

  • Capability to layout job sites

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a Travel Role with sites across the state of Michigan.

Work Environment

The position is based in Lansing, MI. Depending on the candidate's place of residence, daily commute is feasible. The duration of the current project is approximately 6 months, after which the candidate will transition to the next jobsite located in Midland. Expense reports for car mileage and per diem are provided. The work week typically ranges from 45-50 hours.
