The Opportunity

Ally’s Auto Pricing Team develops and delivers industry leading rates while optimizing economics. This role supports the lease and specialty product operation team in the implementation of lease product rates and origination optimization. Work with system teams to maintain rate delivery to dealers/customers are accurate and analyzing results to ensure expected results occur. The Work Itself

  • Analyze current rate structures looking for opportunities to optimize and propose changes.
  • Monitor current origination and application trends to identify patterns/trends and using them to forecast out expected run rates.
  • Collaborate with business partners on lease channel opportunity and OEM level pricing
  • Coordinate with Sales Alliance and Residual setting teams to establish monthly lease pricing programs and rates
  • Analyze core lease granular pricing programs to ensure profitability objectives are met
  • Perform portfolio analytics, special projects, drill down analysis and other duties as needed.
  • Develop and maintain processes to pull, sanitize, aggregate, conform, and produce operational and portfolio-level reports accurately.
  • Apply sound control processes into daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly processes to effectively identify, assess, and manage risk.
  • Understand competitive environment and other drivers of economics to optimize returns
  • Maintain proper governance controls for any changes proposed to rate matrices.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of documents and processes involved in the extension of Consumer credit.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required with related field.
  • MIS or Data Management experience is strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of analytics experience in the Financial Services industry or auto consumer is preferred.

  • Experience coding in SQL

  • Demonstrated experience in self-assessments, including process documentation, and strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with strong planning and organizing abilities including process improvements.
  • Knowledge of general financial concepts -- P-L calculations, amortization schedules, basic understanding of interest rates, pro-forma models
  • Leveraging expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results.
  • Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of influencing decisions with great analytics and financial models
  • Strong work ethic, ownership, and goal-oriented mentality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Base Pay Range:

Emerging: 70000

Experienced: 95000

Expert: 120000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
