Huntington National Bank HFA Client Services Associate in Lansing, Michigan

Description

Summary:

As an HFA Client Services Associate you will be a key member on the centralized support services team to deliver a great experience to Huntington Financial Advisor clients via telephone and email. You will work in a team environment to assist clients with account information, place trades, and other service-oriented transactions. This position will require you to develop an expertise on HFA policies and procedures, assist with escalated issues, and problem resolution. In addition, you will learn a broad view of brokerage operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide great customer service to investment clients over the phone identifying, researching and resolving issues with accounts

  • Responsible for accepting and executing trades for clients over the telephone

  • Develop and maintain effective rapport with clients and internal/external partners

  • Resolve conflicts and manage customer expectations

  • Take ownership of each client while empathizing and prioritizing client needs

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

  • At least 1 year experience in financial industry

  • Series 6 and 63

Additional License Requirement:

  • State Life and Health and Series 7 required to be obtained within 120 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous brokerage/investment knowledge or comparable experience

  • Excellent telephone communication skills and articulation of speech, displaying a high level of professionalism

  • Strong customer focus and active listening skills

  • Familiarity with investment acumen, including investment products, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) preferred Attention to detail

  • Experience working in call center environment preferred

  • State Life and Health , Series 7 , and Series 63
