Role Summary:

 

Reporting to the Location/Territory Manager, the Construction Project Manager position is a key member of the Kendall Electric Sales team. In this role as a Construction Project Manager you will be accountable for managing the flow of materials, planning and allocating resources, managing and administrating change orders, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.  Along with your team you will have the opportunity and satisfaction to see a project all the way from the quoting process to its grand opening.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

Manage/Oversee Kendall Electric projects from start to finish

Meet with customers to ensure proper execution of projects

Manage project details

Manage large scale material scheduling and delivery projects with multiple contractors and suppliers

Participate in internal and external project coordination meetings with contractors, engineers, and suppliers

Review bid documents, specifications, and drawings to perform material takeoffs

Properly select products and quantities to meet specifications and evaluate alternate solutions

Professional communication with customers

Maintain quality service by adhering to Kendall Group policies, procedures, and standards

Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What you'll need:  Work Experience: 2 years of Project Management experience

Education: High School diploma or GED

Analytics/Computer Skills: Experience working with MS Office; intermediate Excel usage; ability to collaborate with and engage additional commercial or technical resources when appropriate; strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; business acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical abilities

Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in fast-paced, continuously evol
