Overview

InteLogix is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support a team of 8-15 Customer Account Representatives, responsible for supporting overall performance achievement, supporting career path and development, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and legal regulations. Additionally, in this role, the Assistant Operations Manager will assist in the efficient operation of the collection office, training new team members, coordinating and collaborating with other departments and helping to maintain a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 8-15 Customer Account Representatives, providing leadership and guidance to ensure optimal performance

  • Assist in the efficient operation of the collection office, collaborating with the Senior Operations Manager and Director to achieve departmental goals

  • Supervise Customer Account Representatives, Clerical, and Collection Support Staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures

  • Conduct regular reviews of employee work to identify areas for improvement and facilitate career development and coaching

  • Support the training and development of all team members with the Accounts Receivable department

  • Utilize available systems and resources to maximize collection potential and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines

  • Participate in the recruitment process by assisting with interviews for prospective applicants

  • Coordinate with other departments to foster cooperation and streamline operations

  • Maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing deadlines and performance goals

  • Demonstrate professionalism and foster positive relationships with supervisors, colleagues and external stakeholders

  • Uphold workplace safety standards and perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred

    Experience:

  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of management experience or equivalent Management Training program completion required

  • Internal candidates must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of InteLogix policies and procedures

  • Minimum 2 years of third party support, strongly preferred

    Computer Experience:

  • Ability to type quickly and accurately, use a moouse effectively and have a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems is required

    What We Look for in a Candidate:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious

  • Ability to train and motivate others

  • Possess the ability to multi-task

  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written

  • Ability to listen effectively and interpret a constant flow of information
