A Day in The Life of a Senior Associate

As the Senior Associate - Supply Chain Services, you will be responsible for performing project based specialized wire cutting applications and/or value-added services within the warehouse such as subsequent manufacturing and assembling ready to install products. This includes: operating a cutting machine to cut, prepare, and ship specialized wire, cable, and related materials specific to customer orders.

  • Perform technical warehouse tasks related to assigned projects (i.e. – advanced kitting, cabinet builds, rack builds, IP addressing, contractor services, etc.)

  • Operate wire cutting machinery to prepare project based specialized wire and cable cuts for shipment

  • Perform value added services specific to customer orders (i.e. – subsequent manufacturing, assembling, insta-reels, parallels, speedpulls, striping, dying, printing, etc.)

  • Load, unload, and move material in a safe manner manually or by using a forklift or other approved device

  • Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures

  • Utilize math, reading, and basic computer skills to fully complete and process customer orders while meeting deadlines and productivity targets

  • Creating and maintain schedule based on specialized customer install requirements (planning and staying organized, following checklist)

Education & Experience

  • High school degree or equivalent required

  • 3 years of warehouse and distribution operations experience

  • 6 months experience with project related assembly and or manufacturing finished goods

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience with specialized wire cutting

  • Ability to operate machinery and use hand tools

  • Forklift Certification strongly preferred; the ability to obtain a forklift certification is required

  • Knowledge of electrical, construction or mechanical products preferred

  • Project coordination skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to follow direction

  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, be on your feet for extended periods and climb ladders
