Lancaster Laboratories Senior Data Review Scientist in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Inc seeks a Senior Data Review Scientist in Lancaster, PA to perform the following job duties: Review and audit complex routine and non-routine laboratory data one or more areas (including Method development and validation) according to department,  corporate and client Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and/or Forms; Read and understand analytical procedures, Perform review of mathematical equations for correctness, Interact both directly and indirectly with laboratory staff members to ensure all data reviews are appropriately corrected and documented, Produce internal routine and non-routine data reports for clients, and assist with Technical Writing and/or Report writing, Review Investigations, exception, planned deviations, and/or corrective and preventative actions for technical content and correctness, Assist in training of laboratory personnel learning the data reviewer role; Consult and provide guidance related to regulatory compliance of work performed.

This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Must have 3 years of experience in all of the following: Experience reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations; Performing physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products; Preparing standards and samples for analysis; Running instrumentation independently including, various chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer (Coulometric and Volumetric), UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto-titrators, TLC, or dissolution apparatus; Performing maintenance of laboratory equipment.
