DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a clerical position! We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Certifications Specialist to join our dedicated team in Lancaster, PA. This is a 1st shift position working Monday - Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Quality Control Certification Specialists are responsible for dealing with mill certifications and compliance forms for projects. In addition, they will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of a face-paced quality control environment. 

Areas of Responsibility for our QC Certification Specialist:  * Review mill certifications for both Lancaster and Williamsport plants, ensuring accuracy of material  * Provide phone coverage for the department and act as the primary point of contact for outside inspectors  * Preparing job files for outside inspectors and they begin fabrication  * Provide bay sequencing and completion status  * Maintain inspection notifications and weekend notifications  * Data entry of material and paint information

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:  * A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required  * Experience with coordinating and scheduling project schedules in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment  * Experience in and knowledge of steel fabrication processes  * Experience communicating with quality inspectors to ensure accuracy of materials and weekly production scheduling for our Lancaster fabrication facility  * Notary Public preferred, or willing to obtain  * Accurate data entry skills  * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team  * Ability to provide professional and courteous service to outside inspection agencies  * Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and SAP, required
