Objectives: Supports Accounts Payable & Receivable and Customer Service functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports accounts payable and receivable functions, including payment posting, processing of customer payments received via check, credit card, or auto-pay.

  • Contacts auto-pay customers with expired or declined credit cards to re-process payment and updating customer records.

  • Sends statements, invoices, and credit memos to customers via electronic or USPS mail.

  • Sends notices to past-due customers and places accounts on hold.

  • Assists with contacting customers to update their “remit to” address, collections on very past-due accounts, and an accounts payable function that is customer-specific.

  • Participates in business-related projects and activities upon request of management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 2 years of accounts payable and receivable experience with general understanding of basic accounting concepts including credits, debits, general ledger accounts.

  • Proficient computer skills with common business applications including email and spreadsheets..

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Customer service oriented.

As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For New York State, the range of starting annual base pay for this role is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
