Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounting Clerk in Lancaster, Kentucky, to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be on data entry, specifically inputting information into our ERP system. This role is central to our financial operations and will work closely with both the controller and marketing group. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to assist with data management and analysis

• Collaborate with the controller and marketing group to streamline processes and workflows

• Follow detailed instructions to complete tasks, often using a recipe sheet as a guide

• Ensure all data entered is accurate, highlighting the importance of attention to detail

• Monitor and review data for completeness and correctness

• Participate in regular audits and clean-up projects to maintain the integrity of our ERP system

• Assist in other administrative tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Requirements • Proficiency in data entry tasks, including numeric data entry

• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in an accounting clerk or similar role

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
