Another exciting opportunity at Mott MacDonald awaits transportation professionals in Cleveland. Our Transportation Practice is currently looking for a Traffic Engineer. As a Traffic Engineer, you will be challenged with the following roles and responsibilities including: Develop traffic signal, lighting, and ITS designs. Assist with marketing and business development. Attend Client meetings. Develop plans, specifications, and estimates. Provide Traffic Engineering support for other Mott MacDonald's offices when required. Prepare drawings in MicroStation. HCS, TransModeler, Synchro, and SIDRA VISSIM experience a plus. We invite applications from candidates with the following experience: Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or a relevant degree. Self-motivated and able to effectively work independently or with a team. Minimum 5 years experience in Traffic Engineering Must have a Professional Engineer license in Ohio or be willing to obtain one within 6 months. Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) is a plus or willing to obtain certification. ODOT experience is preferred. Understanding and implementation of ODOT's guidelines and instructions for signals, lighting and ITS. Good interpersonal speaking and writing skills.
