Scope of role The Thomson Division is a major contributor to the Segment, with approximately 1,500 global associates and $400M in revenue. There are 10 main sites located across the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, & Europe. This position reports to the Senior Director of Finance, Thomson Linear Division and is responsible for a team of three ensuring accurate and timely monthly close and forecast. This position is located in Cleveland, OH and supports the manufacturing site along with collaborating with division and segment staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures application and compliance with Regal Rexnord accounting policies and procedures, US GAAP, and compliance rules and laws. Partner with operational and commercial leaders to support them in driving sustainable business growth, share insights, and optimize profitability. Maintain cost accounting system with focus on data integrity and consistency. Review labor and material variances in a forward-looking manner. Develop cost rates and analyze inventory and movements. Lead annual physical inventory. Analyze actual manufacturing costs, understand and articulate drivers for variances, and partner with operational leaders to improve efficiency and forecast accuracy. Manage, coach, and develop a finance team consisting of one cost accountant and one staff accountant. Produce labor efficiency reporting. Lead annual budget and monthly forecast processes.
