Hill International, Inc. Construction Inspector in Lakewood, Ohio
Hill International is seeking a Construction Inspector in Cleveland, Ohio Candidate will be responsible for providing daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project is in compliance with plans and specifications Be proactive and alert project management professionals to issues that may come up in the field Provide solutions to mitigate those problems Observe field work to ensure workmanship and materials meet standards Must be able to document the work via ODOT or the Ohio Turnpike's daily inspection report and various other reports. Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working on highway/roadway construction projects Experience working on ODOT and/or Ohio Turnpike projects is considered a plus Associate's degree or greater in Civil or Construction Engineering Technology; OR NICET Highway Construction Level II Certification are a plus Preferred to have passed the ODOT Flexible Pavement Test, ODOT Traffic Work Zone Test, ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level 1 and the Ohio Level I Aggregate Technician Training (OAIMA) Ideal candidates are prequalified as an ODOT Project Inspector, Structures Inspector or Traffic Inspector or have the ability to be within 90 days.
