Genesis Corp Business Analyst in Lakewood, Ohio
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a 6-month contract to hire position. This position can be worked Remotely however, candidates must be willing to go onsite on an "ad-hoc" basis. Candidates may need to go onsite for occasional team meetings or for equipment needs. Candidates must be in driving distance in Ohio near Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, or Columbus (Dublin). Client is seeking Healthcare or Health Insurance industry experience and at least 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst. Candidates applying must be a USC or GCG and able to work on a W2 basis through Genesis10. This position pays $35-50/hr, W2 depending on experience. Job Duties: Researches and resolves or provides needed information for tickets independently (or with limited guidance of a senior team member) Assist with triaging a production issue (not expected to work it, but know enough to point in right direction) Contributes to projects by completing assigned tasks independently. Focus on requirements documentation for low, medium, and high complexity projects. Leads program-level and system-level testing, implementation, and break-fix tasks associated with business applications, including multiple platforms. Actively participates in team discussions and decision making. Requirements: Healthcare industry experience. 7+ yrs experience. Possesses strong knowledge of Business Analyst tools and techniques Can solicit and review requirements -can surface unstated requirements through line of questioning. Can figure out how to interface the data the way it is needed. Less about testing and more about showing results Able to articulate options for solving a problem - with basic risk analysis and cost/benefit analysis. Critical thinking; knowledge of different tools for collecting data. Ie: QMF, structure SQL to get data. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
