Presidential Transportation School Bus Driver in Lakewood, New Jersey

RESPONSIBILITIES:- Safely operate a bus to transport passengers to their destinations- Provide excellent customer service to students, ensuring a positive experience- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, including those with special needs/ disabilities- Follow established routes and schedules- Monitor passenger behavior and address any issues or concerns that arise- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers on boardSKILLS:- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with passengers of all ages and backgrounds- Experience in paratransit or student transportation is a plus- Ability to educate passengers on bus safety rules and procedures- Excellent driving skills, with a clean driving record and a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)- Proficiency in behavior management techniques, especially when dealing with children or challenging situations- Familiarity with childcare practices and the ability to ensure the safety of young passengersNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
