Manufacturing Technician - Metal Polisher

Job Information:

  • Contract-to-hire, located in Lakewood, NJ

  • Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (some overtime)

  • Paying $20/hr - $22/hr.

    Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities:

  • Works with stainless steel product (tanks, stainless pressure vessels, etc.)

  • Grinds and polishes metal to #4, including blending of welds and seams.

  • Operates and works with hands tools and power tools including pneumatic (air) tools.

  • Deciphers basic information by reading customer drawings, diagrams and blueprints

  • Preforms quality checks on finished product to assure order accuracy

    Manufacturing Technician - Metal Polisher

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post-high school training or vocational certificate is preferred Examples: welding certification, OSHA 30, etc.

  • Must be able to stand for 8 hour shifts, use of both arms, hands, legs, etc. Able to bend, stoop, climbing ladders, work in confined spaces (training provided).

  • At least two (2) years in metal fabrication or in a similarly related manufacturing tech role.
