System One Maintenance Mechanic - Injection Molding in Lakewood, New Jersey

Maintenance Mechanic Technician

Location: Lakewood Industrial Park, Lakewood, NJ

Hours: Dayshift, Monday-Friday | 40/hrs per week

Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties:

  • We operate 4 injection molding lines which manufacture plastic panels. This job entails fixing, repairing and troubleshooting our injection molding machinery along with other manufacturing equipment (assembly line style manufacturing)

  • Types of machines / equipment: Plastic injection molding, hot plate welding, sonic welding, punch press, drill presses, etc.

  • Maintains communication with management on broken equipment

  • Orders parts, maintains spare parts inventory and communicates with management when significant or prolonged down-time is needed

  • Oversees and performs preventative maintenance of equipment per schedule

  • Refers to O&E manually regularly before starting a job to learn and understand equipment. Plans work.

  • Call in parts orders once approved

  • Basic understanding the PLC’s

  • Preforms facility maintenance as needed

  • Repairs or replaces lights, or lighting fixtures

    Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least (1) one year prior experience repairing, fixing and/or troubleshooting machinery and equipment, preferably from another ISO-9001 certified environment.
