Harrison Western Construction Construction Foreman in Lakewood, Colorado

We are looking for an experienced Construction Foreman to join our growing team. The Foreman is responsible for leading the jobsite and crew to ensure the job is completed safely, accurately and on time.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Take instructions for daily tasks from the Superintendent
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders and forklifts
  • Operate auger boring equipment, experience operating TBM, MTBM and Pipe Ram is considered a plus
  • Lead Safety and Toolbox meetings with crew
  • Ensure all work plans and JHA's are covered before tasks are started
  • Complete daily log of work performed
  • Inspect work progress, equipment and construction sites to ensure specifications are met
  • Supervise crew members
  • Perform safety inspections of work area
  • Train personnel as needed
  • Travel may be required up to 30%

Skills and Specifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in utility construction
  • Ability to take direction from supervision
  • Experience with Construction survey
  • Welding experience preferred
  • OSHA training preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation
  • Recognize hazards and safety risks
  • Familiar with equipment and tools required for the position
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Work in a standing, seated, or other physical positions
  • Preferred supervisory experience
