TFC MANUFACTURING, INC. Spot_Seam Welder in Lakewood, California

Looking for RESISTANCE/SPOT welder and SEAM welder. Responsible for the welding of aluminum, stainless steel and/or titanium to join or fabricate aerospace metal parts according to drawing requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • CERTIFIED or must pass welders qualification testing per AWS Standard.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret various measuring tools for inspection.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2yrs+ experience in the aerospace or aviation manufacturing industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual Spanish/English helpful.

ADDITIONAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM DUTIES: This is a hands-on position that may require standing for up to 4 hours a day and working directly with hardware on the floor. Applicants must be able to lift at least up to 25 lbs unassisted, be comfortable stooping, bending, standing, climbing ladders, or working in tight spaces; be willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
