Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Join more than 400 team members collaborating on the two-building campus to help put breakfast on the tables of millions of consumers in North America. Responsibilities Responsible for maintenance, repair and upkeep of the Lakeville Corporate facilities and facilities equipment (including; boiler, HVAC, grounds, etc.) while maintaining a safe work environment. Support, implement, and maintain food safety and quality practices as required through SQF and our Construction and Repair process. Will be responsible for completing job duties in a manner that supports all safety and environmental practices in multiple locations. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Perform building and routine maintenance – Grounds, doors, docks and dock locks, roofs, lights, overhead doors, filters, irrigation, walks, parking lots and making facility repairs when necessary. Perform maintenance and repair to facility related equipment such as doors, docks, lights, elevators, sprinkler systems, and security systems. Support Pilot Plant maintenance as needed. Support off hours call in needs. (Nights/Weekends) Maintain and operate company vehicles. Maintain, test, and operate plant generators for power outage needs and issues. Work with and provide direction to contractors and vendors including quotes and estimates. Change filters in HVAC units throughout the facilities. Perform grounds maintenance as needed. Tag equipment per prints and flow diagrams. Organize and clean assigned maintenance areas and storage areas. Perform safety inspections. Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication skills while focused on customer service. Flexibility to work off schedule for on call needs. Manual dexterity for delicate work. Frequently stoop, squat, twist, reach, climb stairs while performing job duties. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Work in all inside and outside areas which can include heights up to 30 ft, working on ladders, confined spaces and catwalks. Exposure to extreme heat and cold, humidity, fumes, gases, odors and dust. Exposure to high noise levels. Work around moving machinery that is electrically and mechanically hazardous. Also work with highly combustible or potentially explosive equipment. Comfortable wearing Post Consumer Brands' uniform and required PPE including but not limited to: bump-cap, hair net, beard net, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, steel-toed shoes, etc. Performs all other miscellaneous job related duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION: Two years schooling or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, and facility/building carpentry. Valid driver's license Special Class Boiler's license or higher, Universal refrigeration license is preferred. EXPERIENCE: A combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job levels as described. Also desired is knowledge of preventative maintenance practices, plant operations and government safety regulations.
