Year End Bonus:
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.

Associate of Science degree in electronics or have completed an approved electronics technical course
at least two years of work experience as an electronics technician or an electrical control technician
ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, PLC logic diagrams, electronic systems schematics, and technical manuals
ability to use a multi-meter, signal generator, oscilloscope, and a lap top computer
knowledge of A.C. and D.C. electrical theory, and how to apply Ohm’s law to practical applications
understanding of the proper application of electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transformers, rectifiers, fuses, thyristors, triacs, diodes, transistors and integrated circuits
capable of creating and processing work orders within a computerized maintenance-management system
ability to work independently with little or no supervision
ability to supply your own hand tools and maintain them to accomplish daily duties
ability to work well with others and function as a team member
ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
current Industrial Maintenance associate
previous experience in one of the following programming languages, C+, C++ , Visual Basic, or PLC Programming
