Honeywell Program Specialist II in Lake Success, New York

As a Program Specialist at Honeywell, you will join a team dedicated to supporting development programs within our Building Automation, business unit. In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing program plans, managing budgets and schedules, and executing programmatic MOS. Your expertise in project management and risk management will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide guidance and coordination, and support forecasting and capacity analysis to meet delivery requirements specific to the building automation industry. You will report directly to the program manager and work under moderate supervision to execute on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, earned value, and quality. Your ability to effectively communicate programmatic details, requirements, actions, and status to business leaders within the building automation industry will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Cost Account Managers to ensure accurate cost management within the building automation industry

  • Implement program plans and ensure adherence to budget and schedule specific to building automation projects

  • Follow the IPDS process to drive program success in the building automation sector

  • Execute the Management OS to meet program objectives within the building automation industry

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve program goals in the building automation field

  • Provide guidance and coordination to support program activities in the building automation sector

  • Support forecasting and capacity analysis to meet delivery requirements in the building automation industry

  • Ensure timely management of program activities within the building automation field

  • Present programmatic details, requirements, actions, and status to stakeholders in the building automation industry

    Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $88,600-$111,000. The position also offers sales incentive (subject to change on company performance and individual performance). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

You Must Have

  • Three Years experience in relevant program or project management experience.

  • Experience in building technology (fire, security, alarms or other building controls) within the commercial/industrial

  • construction industry.

  • Creating or co-creating project/program budgets.

  • Experience managing portfolio of multiple projects concurrently.

  • BS/BA degree in engineering or business.

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

  • PM Principles Based upon PMP PMI Certification.

  • Requirements Management & Fulfillment, Planning/Estimation.

  • Scheduling including resource-loading critical path analysis.

  • SOW-thru-WBS-thru-BOE-thru Integrated Master Schedule.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Earned Value Management.

  • Cost & Financials (ex. RDE, spend, forecast, variance).

  • Risk Management (Identification & Mitigation).

  • Cross Functional Communication with program team/sponsors.

  • May perform the role of program’s risk process manager.
