Calo Programs RN in Lake Ozark, Missouri

Full time and Part time shifts available

Lake Ozark, Missouri location

LPN Pay $29-$30 per hour

RN Pay $35-$36 per hour

Calo Programs is seeking a nurse (LPN or RN) with a passion for working with pre-teens and adolescents

Calo is a residential treatement facility in Lake Ozark, Missouri that works with children 9-18 who have been through trauma in their developmental stages, particularly as it relates to foster/adoption. We currently have openings in our Health Services department for an RN or LPN. Calo's Health Services department is operational 24/7 and we are looking for qualified nurses on a FULL-TIME and PRN status to help as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for professional nursing treatment of students
  • Care coordination and collaboration
  • Medication Management
  • Triage and manage illness and injury
  • Responsible for infection prevention and control
  • Ensure compliance with state and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
  • Current nursing license in Missouri, or compact state
  • BLS
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass physical and drug screen
  • Able to pass state and federal background check

Physical Requirements

  1. Sitting/standing - employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  2. Walking - employee may be required to walk considerable distance during the workday
  3. Carrying - employee may be required to carry objects in his or her arms and must have full mobility of arms to perform Safe Crisis Management (SCM)
  4. Lifting - employee may be required to raise and lower students from one level to another during the shift and must be able to lift 45 lbs. to perform SCM
  5. Stooping and crouching - employee is required to bend forward at the waist and/or kneel to perform SCM
  6. Climbing stairs - employee must be able to climb stairs
