American Battery Solutions Engineering Tool Developer in Lake Orion, Michigan

Job Summary: As an Engineering Tool Developer at American Battery Solutions (ABS), you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust tool solutions that enhance the efficiency, collaboration, and innovation of our engineering teams. The Engineering Tool Developer requires a deep understanding of the process of gathering stakeholder needs and driving those into tool solutions, with a focus on SmartSheet development. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain SmartSheet solutions to support business processes. * Automate workflows and improve existing processes using SmartSheet automation and integration capabilities. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SmartSheet-based solutions. * Ensure data integrity and security within SmartSheet by implementing appropriate access controls and compliance measures. * Provide training and support to SmartSheet users, empowering them to utilize the platform effectively. * Stay up-to-date with SmartSheet features and updates, incorporating new functionalities to enhance business operations. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SmartSheet configurations and integrations. * Adhere to federal and state regulations. * Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures. * Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. * Predictable and reliable attendance. Position Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of Two (2) years of proven experience as a Solution Architect, or equivalent position. * Minimum of Two (2) years of experience in an engineering or technical environment preferred. * Demonstrated experience developing SmartSheet functionalities, including dashboards, reports, and workflow automation. * Experience with SmartSheet API and integrating SmartSheet with other tools and systems. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. * Effective communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work in a team and individually. * Proven ability to analyze problems and find solutions.
