Job Description GENERAL SUMMARY Assumes responsibility for managing, developing and executing a total Bond Program/CRA product strategy and extending reach of existing products (key liaison with internal business partners including Retail). External partnerships with State Bond Agencies, and local Not for Profit Agencies). Individual will also lead a small team of CRA lenders providing an in-depth knowledge of mortgage products and understanding current CRA/Bond initiatives, programs, industry trends and issues. Reviews and modifies existing products. Assures adequate resources and training are provided to ensure full compliance with all requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and submits strategy plans to President of Mortgage for implementation and roll out of new and enhanced mortgage CRA/Bond programs. Utilizes research studies to shape products and servicing offerings. Develops project implementation plans (work assignments, key deliverables, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects) and plays a lead role in managing and coordinating necessary activities to achieve desired results. Establishes and maintains working relationships with key business partners including Mortgage Fulfillment, IT, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Risk and Compliance, Secondary Marketing and Affiliate senior management. Provides a leadership role in coordinating all functions and processes required to roll out products/programs including design and development, messaging/positioning, education and marketing planning effectiveness. Evaluates, analyzes new product performance to assess effectiveness of product/programs introduced. Develops and updates content for assigned product guides. Interprets and enforces product policies and guidelines. Defines product initiatives to create awareness and execution in collaboration with Sales to develop effective sales programs. Manages contract review, approval, renewal process for all Bond, DPA, and CRA related programs. Manages CRA lenders for primary lending area (MN, ND, WI) and recruits new talent when needed. Works with local communities, branch leadership and retail teams to identify program opportunities and strengthen relationships to drive CRA business. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 supervisory or leadership role. 5 or more years' experience with Mortgage products/CRA Lending, Bond programs, or Community Development. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills including ability to deal with conflict and interact with all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with individuals outside of span of control. Self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities.
