LaGrange County Government Truck Driver in LAGRANGE, Indiana

LaGrange County is accepting applications for Truck Driver for the Highway Department. Incumbent is responsible for operating various heavy trucks and equipment to maintain County roads and rights-of-ways. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid drivers license with an excellent driving record. Preferred candidate will have a Class A (or B) CDL or be eligible/able to get the endorsements. Candidates need to be a self-starter who is able to work unsupervised, multi-tasker, and reliable. LaGrange County participates in the Next Level Jobs Grant program that can cover the cost of training to get your CDL. Position is hourly, non-exempt status. Hourly rate is up to $24.41 depending on experience. Benefits include health, vison, dental, and life insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and employee assistance plan.
